We are looking for dedicated Support Workers to join the team at The Redbourne Centre near Gainsborough. The Redbourne Centre is a specialist care home with nursing that provides a supportive, therapeutic, and homely environment for men aged 18+ with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities, mental health disorders, and complex needs.

Your mission here will be to provide practical, physical, and emotional support to residents, enabling them to achieve maximum independence, exercise personal choice, and enjoy active social inclusion.

Your Role

In this role, you will adopt a professional approach while establishing warm, trusting relationships with our residents and their families. Your responsibilities will include:

Care Delivery: Assisting the senior team with assessing individual needs, planning, and delivering care, including following established clinical risk assessment plans.
Clinical Support: Undertaking clinical work-related tasks as delegated by senior staff following appropriate training and competency assessments.
Autonomy & Judgment: Exercising an agreed degree of professional autonomy to satisfy the day-to-day demands of the role.
Collaboration & Communication: Liaising effectively with all stakeholders, including carers and relatives, to ensure a seamless, integrated service.
Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate, legible, and thorough records of care provided based on individual care plans.
Development: Participating in clinical supervision to continuously further develop your competence and practice.

Requirements:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Essential).
Prior experience working with young people and/or adults with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs (Highly valued).
A Level 2 in Health and Social Care or prior experience in a care setting is advantageous but not essential—full training is provided!
Flexibility to work a rotational schedule across a 7-day service, including days, nights, and weekends.
Please note: Due to visa restrictions, we may be unable to support applications where Home Office limitations prevent candidates from meeting the full contractual hours.
