About the Role

Are you passionate about HR and looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Myton Food Group to find a dedicated People (HR) Assistant for the Farmers Boy Manufacturing site in Deeside!

Reporting to the People Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the human resources department. You will be responsible for a wide range of HR administrative tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient processes, and providing excellent customer service to site colleagues and managers.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for foundation-level site People queries.
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the site HR team.
Ensure accurate payroll administration so colleagues are paid correctly and on time.
Maintain records, files, and spreadsheets in line with data protection legislation.
Keep ad-hoc analysis and reporting on HR issues up to date and coordinate weekly HR audit checks.
Support site recruitment processes and help drive colleague engagement.
Support, coach, and challenge line management regarding absence, disciplinary, and grievance issues.
Build positive, effective relationships with unions, agency suppliers, colleagues, and stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For

While you don't need to be fully HR qualified to apply (though working towards a qualification is welcomed), we look for the following skills and experience:

Experience working in a fast-paced People environment (manufacturing experience is a plus, but not essential).
Proactive, positive approach with a true customer-focused mindset.
Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines efficiently.
Excellent all-round IT skills, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and exposure to HR Systems.
Experience advising and supporting colleagues/managers with foundation-level queries and an understanding of HR policies.
Strong initiative and a proactive approach to continuous professional development.
