Weir End House is situated just four miles outside the scenic market town of Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire. The service offers residential support for 11 men and women on the autism spectrum or with learning disabilities. The team’s mission is to help residents live a happy, healthy, and independent life. This specific role is perfect for someone looking to contribute to a care environment through vital operational and environmental support, ensuring the house always feels like a safe, welcoming home.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, working together to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the service. While this specific role does not involve providing direct personal care, your behind-the-scenes contribution is absolutely vital to the residents' overall well-being.

Your core responsibilities will include:

Maintaining the Environment: Keeping communal areas well looked after, organized, comfortable, and safe for everyone who lives and works in the home.
Day-to-Day Operations: Assisting with practical daily running tasks and hospitality duties that create a warm, therapeutic atmosphere.
Team Collaboration: Working alongside the direct care staff and management team to ensure a positive, well-functioning household.
Resident Interaction: Providing friendly, positive, and empathetic interactions with residents as you go about your daily duties.
