We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a specialized 2-bed EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) children's residential home in Edgbaston. Your mission will be to establish an environment where every child experiences an "extraordinary day, every day," with the clear objective of maintaining a minimum Ofsted rating of "Good."

Key Responsibilities:

Holistic Care Planning: Develop and oversee tailored care plans addressing the educational, therapeutic, social, and health needs of each young person.
Team Leadership & Retention: Recruit, onboard, and develop a robust, consistent staff team, ensuring a familiar and stable environment for the residents.
Youth Consultation: Establish active systems that consult and involve young people regarding the care and support they receive.
Safeguarding & Quality Standards: Maintain impeccable care standards aligned with the Home’s Statement of Purpose, swiftly addressing any child protection concerns or complaints.
Commercial Management: Manage the home efficiently and effectively in line with allocated budget expectations and performance KPIs.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a children's residential care setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory/leadership role within the last 5 years.
Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Care is essential. A Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is preferred (or commitment to enroll within 6 months of starting).
Expertise: Strong understanding of Ofsted's Quality Standards, SCCIF, and childcare legislation. Knowledge of trauma-informed care and managing challenging behaviours.
Skills: Highly efficient in planning, budget control, resource allocation, and team motivation.
Requirement: Must hold a Full UK Driving License.
