In this role, you will split your responsibilities between managing patient records and welcoming individuals at the ward reception desk. You will deliver efficient administrative support while ensuring that patient confidentiality, record accuracy, and warm customer care remain at the heart of your work.

Role Description

As a Medical Records and Ward Administrator, you will maintain up-to-date healthcare records, manage end-to-end Subject Access Requests (SARs), and coordinate discharge summaries with general practices. Additionally, you will greet incoming patients, escort them to their rooms, and handle professional enquiries to support daily ward operations.

Key Responsibilities

Log, process, and complete Subject Access Requests (SARs) accurately within specified timeframes while maintaining precise record systems.
Greet arriving patients professionally, escort them to their rooms, and deliver high-quality customer service at the ward reception.
Support clinical teams by managing telephone calls, handling discharge documentation, and utilizing CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

Requirements

Strong administrative and secretarial background with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM databases.
Outstanding organizational abilities, attention to detail, and skill in managing high-volume tasks under pressure.
Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills with a professional, empathetic demeanor.
