About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Morrisons to recruit friendly, hands-on Customer Assistants for their Market Street and Café team in Scarborough.

In this role, you will prepare and serve the fresh, high-quality food Morrisons is known for. Whether you are serving meals in the Café or preparing pizzas, fresh fish, or meat on Market Street, you will play a major part in making every customer's experience special. You will also receive cross-training across other store areas like Replenishment and Customer Service, making flexibility and teamwork essential.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve meals and high-quality food in the Café and across Market Street (including pizzas, fresh fish, or meat).
Work within a fast-paced, structured environment with clear routines and timed activities to keep operations running smoothly.
Assist customers with a helpful approach and support query resolution when required.
Provide flexible cross-functional support across other store departments, such as Replenishment and Customer Service.
Ensure safe use of equipment and strict adherence to store processes.

What The Role Requires

A helpful, friendly approach with a strong passion for putting customers first.
Enjoys staying active, hands-on, and working in a busy, structured environment.
Comfortable using in-store equipment safely and following established processes.
Available for evening and weekend shifts as part of the 16-hour weekly schedule.
Must be over the school leaver’s age (with some roles requiring colleagues to be over 18 due to health and safety).
