Job Details

Role: Assistant Store Manager (Store Operations)
Locations: West Sussex, Crawley, East Grinstead, Horsham
Salary: £38,525 – £45,420 per annum (pro rata)
Contract Type: Permanent (Flexible contracts of 32, 36, or 40 hours per week)

What You’ll Be Doing

Working directly alongside the Store Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role in store operations, team engagement, and customer satisfaction:

Team Leadership & Engagement: Inspire, motivate, and manage colleagues to reach performance targets and hit key store KPIs.
Store Operations: Coordinate shift schedules, oversee stock deliveries, manage stock rotation, and maintain strict product quality standards.
Till & Financial Management: Supervise till operations, ensuring accuracy, cash handling efficiency, and smooth checkout flow.
Compliance & Safety: Enforce Health & Safety regulations, due diligence, and store compliance standards.
