Supportive Bridge is recruiting on behalf of Bupa for a Care Assistant to join the team at Southlands Care Home in Harrogate.

This is a fantastic opportunity to provide high-quality, person-centred care in a welcoming care home environment. As a Care Assistant, you'll support residents with their daily living needs while helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

Provide person-centred care and companionship to residents.
Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
Support residents with nutrition and hydration according to their care plans.
Observe, document, and report changes in residents' wellbeing.
Encourage participation in social and recreational activities.
Maintain accurate care records in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
Work collaboratively with the wider care team to deliver outstanding care.

Requirements

Positive attitude with a genuine passion for caring for others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous care home experience or a Health & Social Care qualification is desirable.
