Job Introduction

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with West Yorkshire Pension Fund (WYPF) and Bradford Council to recruit an energetic and proactive Infrastructure Manager for their corporate office in Bradford.

WYPF undertakes pension administration for approximately 30 clients, running complex financial systems alongside an impressive artificial intelligence tooling suite. In this vital role, you will support the day-to-day operations and maintenance of IT infrastructure across multiple in-house Data Centres and corporate offices, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient IT systems while partnering with stakeholders to drive ongoing improvements.

About the Role

As Infrastructure Manager, you will take full accountability for server environments, network performance, and vendor relationships. Key responsibilities include:

Network & Infrastructure Ownership: Overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and performance of network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN) across multiple sites to ensure high availability and reliability.
Server & Cloud Management: Managing server environments, virtualization platforms, and cloud services (e.g., Active Directory, Azure, Office 365) to drive performance, scalability, and optimization.
Monitoring & Incident Response: Proactively monitoring infrastructure, identifying risks early, and acting as a key leader in incident response execution and post-event root cause analysis.
Security & Disaster Recovery: Ensuring full compliance with IT security policies and regulatory standards (e.g., PCI, GDPR) while leading disaster recovery planning and testing using VMware Site Recovery Manager.
Strategy & Vendor Management: Driving infrastructure strategy, capacity planning, and lifecycle management, while owning vendor relationships and leading the end-to-end delivery of technical projects and site deployments.

About You

We are looking for a highly capable, forward-thinking technical leader who brings:

Proven experience in managing and optimizing complex IT infrastructure, enterprise networks, and multi-site data centers.
Strong technical expertise across Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, and virtualization platforms (VMware).
Solid experience in incident management, root-cause analysis, and disaster recovery planning.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
A proactive, energetic mindset dedicated to ensuring maximum system uptime, security, and user satisfaction.
