Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to recruit for Princes Street, a welcoming residential service set in a lovely suburban area of Roath, near Cardiff. Conveniently located close to local shops and within easy reach of the city centre, the home offers a warm environment for five male residents.

The individuals we care for live with a learning disability and associated mental health needs. Our team is dedicated to empowering these men, helping them build core daily living skills, develop budgeting confidence, and navigate behavioral support.

As a Support Worker and Key Worker, you will provide direct, life-changing support. Because working in care is highly dynamic, your natural empathy and emotional resilience will help you guide residents through both their highs and lows, helping them build a healthier, more independent future.

Key Responsibilities

Person-Centred Care: Deliver high-quality personal care and daily living support that promotes dignity, choice, and active involvement.
Independence & Skill Building: Act as a key worker, directly helping residents set personal goals, improve budgeting skills, and celebrate milestones.
Community Engagement: Encourage, assist, and accompany residents as they participate in local activities and suburban community life.
Accurate Record Keeping: Maintain precise daily notes, charts, care plans, and progress records.
Relationship Management: Build trusted, positive relationships with service users, their families, and your healthcare colleagues.
Safety & Compliance: Uphold safety, security, and strict confidentiality protocols across all duties.
