Sports and Exercise Medicine Consultant / MSK Physician

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Bupa for an experienced Sports and Exercise Medicine Consultant / MSK Physician to join the multidisciplinary team at Bupa Exeter Clinic in Exeter, UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician to provide high-quality, evidence-based care for patients with musculoskeletal (MSK) and sports-related conditions. Working within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you will assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of MSK disorders while delivering outstanding patient care. This self-employed role offers flexible working arrangements, an established referral pathway, and the opportunity to further develop your clinical expertise in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct specialist consultations and assessments for patients with sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.
Develop personalised treatment plans using evidence-based clinical practice.
Work collaboratively with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals within the multidisciplinary MSK team.
Maintain accurate clinical records and deliver exceptional patient care in line with professional standards.
Participate in continuous professional development and contribute to service improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

GMC registration with a licence to practise and inclusion on the Sport and Exercise Medicine Specialist Register.
CCT (or equivalent) in Sport and Exercise Medicine.
Postgraduate Diploma or MSc in Sports & Exercise Medicine or Musculoskeletal Medicine.
Significant experience working within an MSK multidisciplinary team.
Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and patient management skills.
