Position: Bank Kitchen Assistant (Casual / Flexible)

Location: Pinetree Care Home, Rawreth Lane, Rayleigh, SS6 9XH

Pay Rate: £14.80 per hour (Inclusive of 12.07% bank worker enhancement)

Hours: Flexible / As and when required (Bank contract, Days)

In this vital casual role, you will provide cover for planned or unplanned absences, helping to produce delicious meals and create a fulfilling dining experience. A nutritious diet is essential to resident wellbeing, and your impact will reach beyond the kitchen as you get to know residents and enhance their daily hospitality experience. Plus, strong performance in this role could lead to a permanent opportunity!

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Standards: Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and food preparation in the kitchen.
Meal Delivery: Assist the catering team in producing wholesome, nutritious meals for residents.
Resident Engagement: Build friendly relationships with residents during meal times to enhance their overall dining experience.
Flexible Cover: Provide ad-hoc support across day shifts as and when required by the home.

What Vetting & Experience You Need

Approach: Reliable, considerate, caring, and flexible with work patterns.
Commitment: A strong dedication to maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
Experience: Formal qualifications are not necessary, though previous experience in a commercial or care catering setting is advantageous. Full training and development will be provided!
