About the Role

You will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavoursome, and well-balanced menus, collaborating directly with residents to tailor meals around their preferences. What You Need to Have

A personable and warm approach with a genuine interest in residents' wellbeing.
City & Guilds / NVQ / SVQ or equivalent culinary qualifications.
A good understanding of nutrition and experience working with fresh, seasonal food.
The ability to create a warm, welcoming, and fun environment.
Confidence engaging with residents to create appetising and nutritious menus.
A solid understanding of HACCP guidelines.

What You Need to Do

Manage and oversee the kitchen effectively in the Head Chef’s absence.
Assist the Head Chef with menu development and person-centred hospitality.
Work with fresh produce to deliver high-quality, wholesome dishes cooked to the highest standards.
Work within budget, complete regular audits, and manage comprehensive stock control.
