In this full-time leadership role, you will oversee overnight care operations, mentor care assistants, and ensure residents receive high-quality physical, psychological, and social support.

Role Description

As a Senior Care Assistant (Night), you will lead the night care team to deliver compassionate, person-centered care. You will supervise personal care routines, assist with care management, uphold safety standards throughout the night shift, and support residents with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the night care team in delivering personal care, hygiene, and mobility support.
Assist in managing shift rotas, updating care plans, and ensuring continuous resident safety.
Provide physical, emotional, and social care to residents while acting as a key point of contact during night shifts.

Requirements

NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (essential) and willingness to complete Level 3.
Proven experience working as a Senior Care Assistant in a care home environment.
Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and valid right to work in the UK.
