About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting experienced Regional Bank Nurses (RMN/RNLD) on behalf of a leading specialist healthcare provider.

This flexible bank position offers Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN) and Registered Learning Disability Nurses (RNLD) the opportunity to work across multiple specialist mental health services in Wellington, Exeter, and Cullompton. Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to service users.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate personalised care plans.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with NMC standards.
Monitor and document changes in patients' physical and mental health.
Support individuals with complex mental health conditions and learning disabilities.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to promote recovery-focused care.
Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with regulatory and organisational standards.
Promote dignity, independence, and person-centred care.
Contribute to maintaining a safe, therapeutic, and supportive clinical environment.
Support colleagues and promote effective teamwork across all services.

Requirements

Applicants should have:

A recognised RMN or RNLD nursing qualification.
Current NMC registration.
Previous experience within a mental health or learning disability setting.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities.
A compassionate, caring, and professional approach.
Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and bank shifts.
A positive attitude, resilience, and a good sense of humour.

About the Services

As a Regional Bank Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work across three specialist healthcare facilities:

Wellesley Hospital – A purpose-built specialist hospital providing assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for adults with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and autism.
Pinhoe View – A modern inpatient mental health service delivering acute assessment, treatment, and stabilisation for adults experiencing significant mental health crises.
The Woodmill – A specialist rehabilitation service supporting women with complex emotional and mental health needs through personalised recovery programmes that promote independence and community reintegration.
