Location: Felbridge Manor Care Home, Turners Hill Road, Copthorne, RH10 3EP
Salary: £39,332.00 per annum
Hours: 40.00 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Shift: Days

About the Role

As the Head of Maintenance, you will ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment so residents feel truly at home and staff can deliver first-class care. Enjoying plenty of variety, you will handle tasks across the building, gardens, and grounds—from fixing repairs to gardening—while collaborating with contractors, leading a team, and assisting with annual budget planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee property maintenance across the building, grounds, and gardens with sensitivity to resident needs.
Manage, lead, and support maintenance tasks while liaising with external contractors when needed.
Assist the General Manager with annual budget planning and property compliance.
Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standard of safety and care.

About You

To join us as a Head of Maintenance, you will bring:

Experience & Skills: Hands-on property maintenance background with at least one core trade skill and a proven ability to handle a wide range of repair tasks.
Requirements: A full UK driving licence, IT literacy, and GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).
