The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bank Physiotherapist to cover evening and Saturday shifts at Buckshaw Hospital in Chorley.

Buckshaw Hospital is a state-of-the-art day-case facility located at Matrix Park, Buckshaw Village, extending high-quality outpatient care in the North West. As a key member of the physiotherapy team, you will manage a full musculoskeletal (MSK) outpatient clinical caseload, including direct referrals and post-operative patients.

This role is ideal for a practitioner with strong manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation skills, a passion for treating sports injuries and spinal conditions, and a collaborative, patient-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a full clinical caseload of MSK outpatients, including direct referrals and post-op rehabilitation across various conditions.

Deliver tailored exercise rehabilitation, manual therapy, and lead post-operative or group classes as required.

Maintain clear, accurate, and timely electronic patient records.

Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure outstanding patient outcomes and maintain safety standards.

What You’ll Need to Apply

Education: Relevant degree in Physiotherapy.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years post-qualification MSK experience (private practice experience is highly desirable).

Registrations: Active HCPC registration and current membership with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).

Skills: Proficient in MSK assessments, exercise prescription, and running clinical classes. Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office).

Attitude: A proactive, "can-do" mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
