About the Role

Ward 4 provides a safe, secure, and dementia-friendly environment dedicated to caring for elderly and vulnerable patients. As a Health Care Support Worker, you will work under the supervision and support of the trained nursing team. Key responsibilities include:

Patient Care & Support: Delivering high standards of personal and nursing care, ensuring every patient is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Clinical & Clerical Activities: Undertaking a range of clinical and administrative tasks to support the smooth daily running of the ward.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Working closely with registered nurses, ward doctors, and other allied health professionals to deliver safe, effective, multidisciplinary care.
Communication & Compassion: Building positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues while upholding the Trust's core values.

About You

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic individual who meets the following criteria:

Qualifications & Skills: Basic literacy and numeracy skills, with a willingness to work towards the Care Certificate (a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care is desirable).
Attributes: Compassionate, well-organized, a strong team player, and able to use your own initiative under pressure.
Experience: Previous experience working in a formal care setting, as an informal carer, or dealing with the general public is beneficial.
