Set in the beautiful, extensive grounds of Calverton, Nottingham, Priory Hospital Arnold is an acute and psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) dedicated to supporting men and women through their mental health recovery journeys.

## What You’ll Be Doing

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be the backbone of patient care. Working alongside a compassionate, multidisciplinary team, you will take a personalised approach to help patients build healthier, more fulfilling futures.

Your day-to-day will include:

Supporting Recovery: Assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans.
Providing Person-Centred Care: Delivering practical support and responsive care, including assistance with intimate personal needs (dressing, bathing, and toileting) with the utmost dignity and respect.
Monitoring Well-being: Observing patients closely and promptly reporting/documenting any changes in physical, mental, or emotional health to senior staff.
Facilitating Activities: Undertaking routine tasks and activities designed to improve patient well-being and daily life.

## What You’ll Bring to the Role

Mental health support is incredibly rewarding, but it requires a special kind of person. We are looking for candidates who possess:

Empathy & Resilience: The ability to support patients through both their highs and lows. No two days are the same!
Education: Minimum NVQ Level 1 or GCSEs in Mathematics and English.
