About the Role

Are you an experienced butcher with professional skills behind the counter or in a commercial kitchen? Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is partnering with Market Street to source skilled, reliable temporary talent for their fresh butchers counter.

In this role, you will act as the face of the fresh meat department, ensuring top-tier product availability, striking displays, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Expert Preparation: Cut, bone, trim, mince, dice, steak, flavor, and wrap meat primals to strict company specifications using appropriate equipment (knives, saws, mincing machines).
Customer Service: Deliver warm, friendly, and engaging service—tailoring cuts to specific customer and online-order requests while showcasing traditional butchery skills.
Merchandising & Quality: Maintain attractive, fresh, and high-quality food displays throughout the trading day to drive sales and ensure food safety standards.
Cross-Counter Support: Work flexibly across other fresh counters on Market Street when required to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
