Hours: 39 hours per week (includes working flexibly across a rota, including weekends)
Pay Rate: £13.79 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Personal & Social Care: Deliver attentive, high-quality care that respects residents' dignity, choices, and independence in line with MHA's caring values.
Keyworker Duties: Act as a keyworker for a group of residents, supporting smooth admissions and individual care plan reviews.
Wellbeing Support: Enhance residents' physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing through personalized daily care, including support for those living with dementia.
Safety & Compliance: Uphold vital safeguarding responsibilities, infection control measures, and health and safety practices at all times.

What You Will Bring

Personal Qualities: A caring nature, patience, empathy, and a genuine respect and sensitivity for older people.
Communication Skills: Good listening and communication abilities, with the capability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
Experience: Previous care experience is desirable, but not essential—a willingness to learn and be trained (with encouragement toward Level 1 or 2 in social care) is what matters most!
Proximity: Ideally living within approximately 15 miles of Ormskirk for a manageable and balanced commute.
