Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to recruit on behalf of our esteemed client, a premier UK specialist social care provider with over 30 years of experience. We are seeking dedicated Support Workers to join their high-specification Supported Living Services in Stoke-on-Trent.

This service is uniquely designed to provide exceptional care for individuals living with mental health challenges, learning disabilities, and autism. Your focus will be on creating a safe, supportive, and homely environment where every tenant is treated with dignity, respect, and empowered to grow their independence.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will deliver the highest standards of care and build meaningful, professional relationships with tenants and their families. Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering tailored, person-centred care that promotes independence, choice, and personal development.
Assisting the senior team with assessing tenant needs, planning care, and following clinical risk assessment plans.
Undertaking clinical work-related tasks as delegated by senior staff (following full training and competency assessments).
Liaising effectively with all stakeholders, including family members and carers, to ensure a seamless service.
Maintaining accurate, legible, and up-to-date records of the care provided.
Participating in clinical supervision to continuously develop your skills and practice.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for individuals with a genuine passion for supporting others, a professional approach to care, and the ability to work a rotational shift pattern.

Requirements:

Experience working with young people and/or adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, or mental health problems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A Level 2 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential.
Prior experience in a care setting is preferred but not essential—excellent training is provided!
Ability to work a full-time, rotational schedule of days and nights (11.5-hour shifts).
Visa Restrictions: We may be unable to support applications where Home Office visa restrictions prevent candidates from meeting the full contractual hours or requirements of this role.
