The Role: What You Will Do

Our homes are built around accepting a child exactly as they are in a completely non-judgmental way. You will help children who have experienced behavioral and emotional difficulties build self-esteem and safely navigate their journey into adulthood.

Build Therapeutic Connections: Create positive, trusting, and safe relationships with children and young people in care, putting their well-being at the heart of everything you do.
Daily Life Support: Assist our young people in all aspects of their daily lives, supporting them with school, life skills, hobbies, external activities, and personal goals.
Structure & Routine: Use your organization skills to help create clear schedules, set healthy boundaries, and establish positive expectations.
Supervision & Care: Provide the highest quality care and substitute parenting, offering high levels of supervision and safety for children with complex emotional needs.

About You (Criteria)

Previous experience is not essential for this role. We pride ourselves on providing a comprehensive induction and industry-leading training framework to give you all the tools you need.

The Requirements:

Age: Must be 22 years of age or older (to meet strict Ofsted regulatory requirements for children's residential services).
Licence: Must hold a valid, manual UK Driving Licence.
Resilience: The ability to remain calm, thoughtful, and grounded in emotionally challenging or stressful situations.
Character: A caring, compassionate, and empathetic approach, with a natural ability to build relationships with vulnerable young people.
