Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is actively recruiting for Westfield House, a dynamic residential service located in a suburban area of Rawmarsh, just outside Rotherham.

Westfield House provides a safe, welcoming, and empowering home for 22 male and female residents managing complex mental health needs. Many of our residents transition to us following a hospital stay. Our mission is to provide them with the vital daily living skills, confidence, and independence they need to lead happier, healthier lives in a community setting.

In addition to mental health needs, this service supports individuals who may also have:

A mild learning disability
A forensic background
Epilepsy

Working a structured pattern of three 12-hour shifts per week across days, nights, and weekends, you will act as a key worker. You will guide residents through the highs and lows of their recovery journey, making natural empathy and emotional resilience your greatest tools.

Key Responsibilities

Recovery & Rehabilitation: Partner with qualified clinical staff to implement individual care plans, assisting with routine therapeutic tasks to facilitate resident wellbeing, dignity, and treatment.
Person-Centred Care: Deliver high standards of personal care and daily living support, encouraging choices that promote independence.
Goal Setting & Tracking: Act as a key worker, helping residents outline personal goals, develop life skills, and track their progress toward community reintegration.
Community & Activity Support: Encourage and facilitate active participation in social activities and local community life.
Accurate Record Keeping: Maintain precise daily notes, care plans, charts, and progress records.
Safety & Compliance: Strictly uphold safety, security, and confidentiality protocols in line with care regulations.

What You'll Bring to the Role

We are searching for adaptable, non-judgmental individuals who are passionate about rehabilitation and mental health recovery. While prior experience in care is a plus, it is not essential—comprehensive training is provided!

A naturally caring, respectful, and empathetic approach to supporting vulnerable adults.
The emotional resilience required to navigate challenging behaviors and complex backgrounds calmly.
The ability to work flexibly across a 24/7 rota (days, nights, and weekends).
