Head of Business Studies

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Lift Schools for a Head of Business Studies to join Lift Firth Park in Sheffield, UK.

This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and experienced educator to establish and lead a brand-new Business Studies department. You will shape the vision, develop the GCSE Business curriculum, and inspire students while building a thriving department from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Business Studies department.
Design and deliver an engaging GCSE Business curriculum.
Monitor student progress and use data to improve outcomes.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Support and mentor colleagues within the department.
Contribute to whole-school improvement initiatives.
Promote high standards of teaching, learning and achievement.
Inspire students to develop business knowledge and entrepreneurial skills.

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching Business Studies in a UK secondary school.
Strong leadership and curriculum development skills.
Excellent classroom management and communication abilities.
Passion for improving student outcomes.
Commitment to inclusive education and continuous professional development.
