About the Role

Hamilton House, located on a quiet road in the peaceful rural village of Leigh Sinton, Worcestershire, is seeking dedicated Bank Support Workers to join our compassionate team. Our home provides tailored residential support for six male and female adults who are autistic or have a learning disability.

Our team is entirely dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of the people we support, helping them to achieve positive personal outcomes. We strive to help each person we care for build a healthy, happy, and independent life within a safe, warm, and welcoming home.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Bank Support Worker, you will be part of a collaborative team working together to ensure the smooth running of the service and the absolute wellbeing of our residents. Your support plays a massive part in creating a positive experience for everyone who lives and works here.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Support & Care: Assist residents with their everyday care requirements, personal needs, and daily living skills.
Promoting Independence: Support and empower residents to make their own choices, try new activities, and build practical life skills.
Service Operations: Help keep communal spaces organised, safe, and well looked after, while completing essential daily notes and logs.
Fostering Wellbeing: Contribute to an uplifting, structured environment that respects and celebrates each resident's unique identity.

Supporting adults with autism and learning disabilities is deeply rewarding, but it requires an adaptable and emotionally resilient mindset. Because no two days are the same, your natural empathy will help our residents navigate both the highs and lows of daily life.

A deeply caring, patient, and respectful approach to supporting vulnerable adults.
Emotional resilience and a calm demeanor when faced with daily challenges.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills to connect with residents and team members.
Prior experience is a plus, but not essential—we provide comprehensive training and guidance to give you the skills you need to succeed.
