Working as a permanent Deputy General Manager (Clinical) through our supportive bridge staffing agency on behalf of Barchester Healthcare, you will support the delivery of top-tier, person-centred care. Working closely with the General Manager and taking on full leadership duties in their absence, you will drive clinical excellence through regular audits, supervised practice, regulatory compliance monitoring, and leading by example.

Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)

Support the General Manager in the day-to-day leadership and operation of the care home.
Monitor and maintain exceptional care standards through regular audits and supervised clinical practice.
Lead, motivate, and inspire a multidisciplinary team to ensure residents enjoy the highest quality of life.
Oversee clinical compliance, risk assessments, and safeguarding investigations.
Support newly qualified nurses through structured preceptorships.

Candidate Requirements (What You'll Need)

Valid, active NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD).
A recognized teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification.
Proven experience supporting residents with diverse health needs.
A strong track record in managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.
Background knowledge in HR processes, budget management, and sales/marketing.
A compassionate, resilient, and energetic approach to leadership.
