Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Staying Put—an established organization with over 25 years of experience providing vital support and services to the men, women, and children of Bradford who are survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence.

We are looking for an empathetic, dedicated Independent Sexual Violence Advocate (ISVA) to help individuals rebuild their confidence, safety, and control after experiencing sexual violence. Help people have better lives—and you can too.

Note: This is a women-only role. Due to the nature of the work, applications can only be accepted from women under schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010.

About the Role

As an ISVA, you will provide high-quality, trauma-informed advocacy and support to individuals affected by sexual violence. Your core responsibilities will include:

Empowering survivors to make informed choices and navigate the criminal justice process (with a strong understanding of court procedures).
Working closely with multi-agency partners to ensure coordinated, person-centered support focused on safety, wellbeing, and recovery.
Applying robust safeguarding practices while building positive working relationships.
Communicating with tact, diplomacy, and confidence when supporting individuals in distress.

About You

We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced, engaged, and highly motivated candidates who bring:

Proven experience supporting people affected by trauma, domestic abuse, or sexual violence.
A deep understanding of emotional safety, inclusion, advocacy, and safeguarding practices.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work confidently both independently and as a supportive team player within a fast-changing, multi-agency environment.
