Fostering Team Manager - 12-Month Maternity Cover

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Five Rivers Child Care Ltd for a Fostering Team Manager to join their fostering service in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, UK on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced social work professional to lead a dedicated fostering team, supporting foster carers and improving outcomes for children and young people. The successful candidate will provide effective leadership while ensuring the delivery of high-quality fostering services across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Doncaster South fostering team.
Provide supervision, guidance, and support to social work staff.
Maintain high standards of fostering practice and regulatory compliance.
Support foster carers through training, meetings, and regular communication.
Work collaboratively with internal teams and external professionals.
Travel across the region to attend meetings, training sessions, and carer support groups.

Requirements

Recognised Social Work qualification.
Registration with Social Work England.
Experience in fostering or children's social care.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Management or leadership qualification, or willingness to complete relevant training.
Full UK driving licence.
Right to work in the UK.

Working Hours

Full-time, 37 hours per week
Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Hybrid working available by agreement
