About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with our client to recruit a dedicated and community-focused Customer Team Member - Home Delivery Driver in Kirkwall.

In this role, you will be the friendly face of the local store, delivering shopping straight to customers' doors and helping make their day a little easier. When you are not out on the road, you will work hands-on in-store to pick and pack orders, serve customers on the till, restock shelves, and keep daily operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Service: Safely and considerately drive to customer homes, delivering orders on time with a warm and professional attitude.
In-Store Operations: Support the team by picking/packing orders, operating tills, restocking shelves, and handling daily retail tasks.
Vehicle Safety: Carry out essential vehicle checks and adhere to strict safety guidelines.
Community Engagement: Represent the brand positively, building strong rapport with customers and promoting store membership benefits.

Candidate Requirements

Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence held for at least 3 years, with no more than 6 penalty points.
Personal Skills: A friendly, helpful approach, strong communication skills, and natural problem-solving abilities.
Team Player: Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment.
Shift Flexibility: Available to work a mix of opening, closing, and mid-day shifts across the week. This includes at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift (either Friday after 6:00 PM, any shift on Saturday, or Sunday). Availability can be discussed further during the interview.
