Working as a Bank Care Assistant through our supportive bridge staffing agency on behalf of Barchester Healthcare, you will help residents enjoy each and every day by ensuring they receive the quality care and support they deserve. Every day is wonderfully varied—from assisting with daily living, providing warm companionship, supporting residents with food and drink, and following individual care plans to sharing special moments, memories, and dedicated one-to-one time.

Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)

Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care routines.
Provide meaningful companionship and ensure each resident gets dedicated one-to-one time.
Support residents with food, drink, and nutritional intake.
Follow established individual care plans accurately and consistently.
Adapt to a dynamic, varied daily routine across flexible day or night shifts.

Candidate Requirements (What You'll Need)

Some previous experience in caring for older people.
A proactive, positive "can-do" approach to daily tasks.
Excellent communication skills and a natural, warm-hearted approach.
Genuine empathy, compassion, and a commitment to high standards of resident care.
