We are seeking a resilient, compassionate, and experienced Team Leader to join their dedicated Complex Trauma Services team in Peterborough. About the Role

In this role, you will help create a safe, nurturing, family-style environment for children and young people recovering from complex trauma. Leading by example, you will mentor a team of support workers, ensure full compliance with OFSTED regulations, and directly support the Home Manager and Deputy Manager.

Your shifts will consist of long hours and essential sleep-in duties, with specific shift times varying slightly depending on the home you are based in.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory & Quality Excellence: Meet the complex needs of the children and young people in strict alignment with OFSTED regulations and the home's Statement of Purpose.
Team Leadership: Support, guide, and supervise Residential Support Workers. Plan team rotas and take supervisory charge of the home in the absence of the Manager or Deputy.
Operational Support: Assist management with essential meetings, medical appointments, and administrative tasks as required.
Digital Daily Records: Confidently use electronic care recording systems (such as Clearcare) daily to accurately document, monitor, and update young people's progress and care plans.
Inclusive Culture: Actively welcome and foster a diverse, inclusive, and warm culture within the home.

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum Age: Must be 21 years old or over (to meet OFSTED regulatory requirements).
Experience: A minimum of 6 months of experience in a children's residential care setting.
Qualification: Must hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Licence: A full UK driving licence is essential due to the location of the homes and the requirement to transport young people.
