### Where You’ll Do It: A Nurturing Home with Great Connection

You will be working in a lovely dual-occupancy home based in North Manchester, boasting easy transport links to Manchester City Centre, Middleton, and Oldham.

The Space: This large, newly decorated property features a welcoming porch, a bright living room, a dining room, a conservatory, a ground-floor office, and an expansive layout designed for comfortable living. It even has its own pet tortoises, loved and cared for by both the staff and the children!
The Residents: The home is currently a safe haven for two settled young people who have happily lived in the property for over two years.
The Culture: You will join an empathetic team that leads with "professional curiosity" to understand and manage the specific needs and risks of the youth in placement. Safeguarding is at the absolute forefront of everything they do. Crucially, the team actively welcomes families into the home during family time, ensuring they are treated as key partners in the child's growth.

### Your Role: What You’ll Do

As a Residential Support Worker, you will maintain a safe, structured environment and provide the tools the young people need to successfully integrate into wider society:

Daily Support: Guide young people through their daily routines, including getting ready for school, meal preparations, and activity planning.
Homemaking: Help keep the newly decorated environment clean, warm, and inviting through light housekeeping.
Therapeutic Connections: Provide empathetic emotional support, helping youth make positive life choices.
Activities & Bonding: Plan and participate in fun activities like trips to the local park, creative projects, or popcorn and movie nights.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, essential documentation to ensure seamless continuity of care.
