Hours: Part-time, 24 hours per week (Permanent contract + regular overtime)
Working Pattern: A mix of opening, closing, and mid-day shifts, with flexibility across the week including at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift (Friday after 6pm, any shift on Saturday, or Sunday). Availability to be discussed at interview.

About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is looking for a friendly and motivated Customer Team Member to join our partner store team in Tonbridge. Play a key role in delivering friendly, helpful service to your local community.

Depending on the store, tasks may involve working in the post office or bakery, or helping with online services by picking and packing orders for home delivery. No prior retail experience is necessary, as full paid training and career development resources are provided from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Support: Support the day-to-day running of the store by delivering friendly and thoughtful service and helping put things right when needed.
Shop Floor & Tills: Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills to create a great shopping experience.
Store Standards: Maintain store performance by keeping shelves stocked, checking prices, dates, and stock accuracy, and ensuring temperatures are as they should be.
Teamwork: Work closely with your team to keep store operations running smoothly.
Community & Membership: Promote Co-op Membership and help stay connected with the local community and charities.

What You’ll Bring

Age: Must be 18+ due to early/late working hours or business needs.
Passion for People: A genuine enthusiasm for helping people and delivering exceptional customer service.
Flexibility: The ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts, including at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift.
Drive & Initiative: An interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (previous experience is helpful but not required).
