Located in the beautiful spa town of Harrogate, North Yorkshire, Aire House provides high-quality residential support for male and female adults with learning disabilities, autism, and a range of additional needs. What You’ll Be Doing

As a Support Worker, you will be an essential part of a compassionate team using a person-centered approach. You will work closely with qualified staff to implement individual care plans, directly helping residents gain independence and thrive.

Daily Living Support: Assist residents with personal care and daily living tasks, preserving their dignity and comfort.
Enriching Activities: Encourage and actively assist residents to try new things, participate in hobbies, and engage in local community life.
Key Working: Act as a key worker for individuals, helping them set personal milestones, track their progress, and realize their potential.
Record-Keeping & Collaboration: Maintain precise records, daily charts, and notes, while building positive relationships with families, colleagues, and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

While prior experience in adult care is fantastic, what matters most to us is your mindset and heart. Full training is provided, making this an excellent entry point if you are looking to start a career in social care.

A Caring Mindset: A respectful, empathetic approach to supporting adults through both their daily successes and tougher moments.
Great Communication: Strong relationship-building and verbal communication skills.
Adaptability: The ability to work flexibly, think innovatively on your feet, and handle a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
Experience (Desirable but Not Essential): Previous experience in care or support work is a plus, but passion and resilience are your best assets.
Please note: This role is subject to a successful disclosure check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), which will be fully covered and funded by Priory.
