We are currently seeking passionate, resilient, and caring individuals to join the established residential team in Leeds.

Role Overview

As a Residential Support Worker, you will be a vital pillar of stability for vulnerable young people. Your day-to-day focus will center on creating a safe, welcoming, and structured home life. Working alongside a collaborative network of professionals, you will help implement individualized care plans that champion each child’s emotional growth, education, and development of essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Living Support: Assist young people with day-to-day routines, including educational support, domestic tasks, personal care, and recreational activities.
Positive Behavior Mentorship: Offer emotional guidance and practical support to encourage positive behavioral choices, boosting self-esteem and resilience.
Relationship Building: Establish stable, trusting, and professional boundaries to provide consistency and security.
Safeguarding Excellence: Prioritize the safety of all residents, remaining highly vigilant and reporting any concerns immediately in line with safeguarding guidelines.
Life Skills Coaching: Help residents practice vital social, communication, and independence skills.
Care Recording: Confidently use electronic care recording systems daily to maintain precise, compliant records and assist in regular progress reviews.

Person Specification

Core Values: A sincere passion for supporting children and youth, coupled with a commitment to high-quality care.
Experience: Prior experience in youth services or residential care is a plus, but not essential—we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.
Key Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to handle complex emotional or behavioral needs constructively.
Digital Literacy: Comfortable adopting digital systems on a daily basis. Familiarity with Clearcare is an advantage, but not required.
Flexibility: Open to working a varied shift pattern that includes evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts.
Requirement: A full UK Driving Licence is essential for this location.
