Role Description

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is seeking a passionate and experienced Operational Trainer to deliver high-quality learning, development, and induction programs across assigned care homes in the region (covering approximately 11 homes across Rutland, Bourne, Wisbech, Lincoln, Grantham, Leicester, and Loughborough). In this home-based role, you will be instrumental in ensuring care personnel are confident, competent, and fully trained to provide person-centred care.

This position is ideal for a certified social care trainer with a proven track record of coaching teams and driving high training compliance across multiple sites. If you possess strong presentation skills, deep legislative knowledge in social care, and the flexibility to travel regularly across the region, this role offers a dynamic and rewarding career path.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive induction and ongoing practical development training across approximately 11 assigned care homes.
Maintain complete training records, observe workplace care practices, and collaborate with Home Managers to create tailored personal development plans.
Support new team members through regular coaching, ensuring smooth onboarding processes and buddy assignments.

Requirements

City & Guilds 7300 (or equivalent training qualification) and NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent sector experience).
At least 2 years of proven training experience within the health and social care sector, paired with strong knowledge of care legislation.
Valid full UK driving licence with willingness to travel regularly across assigned regional locations (Rutland, Bourne, Wisbech, Lincoln, Grantham, Leicester, Loughborough).
