Are you an experienced care professional looking to step into a vital leadership role? Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency has partnered with Priory, the UK’s leading independent provider of mental health and adult social care, to find a passionate Senior Support Worker for their Princes Street home in Roath, near Cardiff.

Princes Street is a welcoming residential service providing support for five male residents with learning disabilities and mental health needs. Located in a lovely suburban area close to local shops and the city centre, the home focuses entirely on promoting independence, daily living skills, budgeting, and behavioral support. As a Senior Support Worker, you will help lead the team, maintain high standards, and ensure our residents have a voice and a choice in their day-to-day lives.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will be a key part of a dedicated, compassionate team working collaboratively to ensure the smooth running of the service and to champion the wellbeing of the residents.

While this specific role does not involve providing direct personal care, your senior contribution is vital to maintaining a safe, structured, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Oversight: Overseeing day-to-day operations, keeping communal and residential spaces organized, and ensuring a positive living environment.
Team Leadership: Supporting and guiding the staff team to ensure consistency and high-quality support.
Resident Empowerment: Helping residents develop daily living and budgeting skills, providing behavioral support, and encouraging independence.
Informed Care: Ensuring residents are actively involved in their support plans, giving them true control over their daily routines.
