Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Five Rivers for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join Sky Vale School in Bristol, UK.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people within a trauma-informed education environment. As an HLTA, you will work alongside experienced teachers, delivering tailored learning both in the classroom and through community outreach, helping students build confidence and achieve their educational goals.

Responsibilities

Support teachers in delivering engaging learning activities.
Assist children and young people in classroom and outreach settings.
Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Support students with SEND and additional educational needs.
Work collaboratively with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver personalised learning.

Requirements

Strong written communication and IT skills.
Excellent communication and active listening skills.
Full UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle.
Right to Work in the UK.
Experience in specialist or alternative education is desirable.
