The Role: What You Will Do

As a Senior Support Worker, you will blend hands-on therapeutic care with essential shift leadership and staff mentorship.

Empower & Safeguard: Work closely with young people—some requiring high levels of supervision—to build their self-esteem, support their education, and guide their journey into adulthood.
Shift Leadership: Take responsibility for leading shifts, managing rotas, enforcing policies/procedures, and ensuring tailored placement plans and risk assessments are strictly followed.
Team Mentorship: Supervise staff on shift, providing guidance, support, and a steady hand to Residential Support Workers.

What We Need From You

To meet Ofsted regulations and effectively lead our team, you must have:

Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent).
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience working within residential childcare alongside young people.
License: A valid manual UK driving licence.
Age: 22 years of age or above.
