Barchester is currently looking for a dedicated Activities Coordinator to join the team at Chacombe Park Care Home (Banbury Road, Banbury, OX17 2JL).

Key Role Details

Position: Activities Coordinator
Location: Chacombe Park Care Home, Banbury Road, Banbury, OX17 2JL
Pay Rate: Up to £15.27 per hour
Hours: 40.00 hours per week (Permanent, Day Shifts)
Working Pattern: Must be available to work alternate weekends
Requirements: Driving license required

Design Engaging Activities: Devise imaginative, fun, and motivational programs tailored to diverse interests and abilities to maximize residents' wellbeing, independence, and social engagement.
Build Meaningful Connections: Spend time getting to know residents and their families to understand their unique backgrounds and preferences.
Community Engagement: Use your enthusiasm to inspire both residents and staff to participate in events both within the home and out in the local community.

About You

Driver Status: A valid driving license is required for this role.
Attributes: Warm, empathetic, personable, and bursting with creative energy.
Skills: Excellent organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and an infectious enthusiasm to make things happen.
Experience: While similar experience is ideal, it is not essential—full training and professional development will be provided!
