Hours: Flexible / As and when needed (Bank / Casual contract)

About the Role

As a Bank Chef, you will provide cover as and when needed while delivering person-centred hospitality. Your core responsibilities will include:

Assisting the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavoursome, and well-balanced menus tailored around residents' preferences
Preparing and cooking fresh seasonal produce to deliver wholesome, high-quality dishes
Helping manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, overseeing stock control, budget management, and HACCP compliance
Assisting in leading, motivating, and inspiring the kitchen team to maintain exceptional standards

About You

To join the team as a Bank Chef, you will need:

A recognized qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, SVQ, or equivalent)
Proven experience working with fresh, seasonal food and a good understanding of nutrition and HACCP
Experience helping lead and inspire a team
A personable, warm approach with a genuine interest in the wellbeing of older people
