Role Description

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RGN) to join a well-regarded care home team in Carmarthen, UK. In this permanent role, you will be responsible for overseeing the physical, psychological, and social well-being of residents, exercising sound clinical autonomy to ensure high-quality, individualized care. Working closely with multidisciplinary team members, you will foster a safe, supportive, and dignified environment for residents with varied care needs.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive clinical care, including safe administration of medication, clinical assessments, and developing personalized care plans.
Exercise independent clinical judgment to assess resident health status and maintain full compliance with MCA, DoLS, and pharmaceutical guidelines.
Lead and mentor junior care staff to maintain high standards of person-centered nursing care across day and night shifts.

Requirements

Active and valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration as an RGN.
Strong background in developing care plans, risk assessments, and understanding healthcare regulatory frameworks.
Excellent clinical decision-making skills paired with a compassionate and person-centered nursing approach.
