About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with a welcoming, community-focused food store in Scarinish to recruit an enthusiastic Customer Team Member.

In this varied role, you will be the friendly face of the store, delivering exceptional customer service and playing a key part in making life easier for your local community. Whether you're assisting on the shop floor, working on tills, managing stock, or supporting in-store services like the bakery or post office, no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service: Provide a friendly, helpful, and thoughtful shopping experience, supporting customers and putting things right when needed.
Shop Floor & Tills: Work hands-on to keep the store running smoothly, operating tills and maintaining an organized, welcoming retail environment.
Stock & Compliance: Maintain high standards by keeping shelves stocked, checking prices, dates, and stock accuracy, and ensuring store safety and legality.
Community & Membership: Champion Co-op Membership and help connect the store with the local community and charitable initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: Formal retail experience is not essential—we provide full, paid training! An interest in retail and working in a busy store environment is all you need.
Attributes: A genuine passion for helping people, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to team collaboration.
Working Flexibility: Available to work a mix of opening, closing, and mid-day shifts across the week, including at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift (Friday after 6 PM, any shift on Saturday, or Sunday).
