Role Description

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is seeking a vibrant Activities Assistant (Bank) on behalf of our client for Winchester House Care Home in Wouldham. In this flexible bank role, you will assist in developing and delivering imaginative, fun, and engaging activity programmes designed to enhance the social interaction, independence, and overall wellbeing of residents.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and facilitate creative group and one-on-one activities tailored to residents' individual preferences and abilities.
Spend quality time engaging with residents and their families to understand their life histories and hobbies.
Assist in organizing community outings and special events to promote social engagement within and outside the care home.

Requirements

Warm, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
High level of creativity, organizational skill, and motivation to inspire resident participation.
Preferred: Valid driving licence and access to a personal vehicle due to the home's location and limited public transport.
Previous experience in an activity or care role is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
