What You Will Do

Compass Homes are built around accepting children exactly as they are. Your role is to help them experience childhood, build self-esteem, and safely transition into adulthood.

Support Daily Life: Facilitate activities, attend appointments, and support children in all aspects of their lives.
Create a Warm Environment: Assist with domestic tasks like cooking, cleaning, and food shopping to maintain a stable home environment.
Safeguard & Supervise: Ensure the health, wellbeing, and safety of young people who may require high levels of support.
Administration: Manage paperwork, create timetables, and write daily reports.

What We Are Looking For

To meet Ofsted regulations and the demands of the role, you must have:

Age: 22 years of age or above.
Licence: A valid manual driving licence.
Traits: A caring, compassionate nature with the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.

Outstanding Training & Development

You don’t need a background in care to succeed here. You will receive:

A comprehensive Skills to Care induction (2 weeks of classroom training + 1 week of shadow shifts).
Full funding and support to achieve your Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 12 months, accelerating your career progression.
