Position: Regional Senior Care Assistant

Location: Crandon Springs Care Home, Glastonbury Road, Wells, BA5 1WE (Covering a 20-mile radius with travel towards Weston-super-Mare, South Bristol, and Bath)

Pay: £16.44 per hour

Hours: 44.00 hours per week

Type: Permanent

Shift: Mixed (Days / Nights)

About the Role

As a Regional Senior Care Assistant representing Barchester Healthcare through Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, you will deliver warm, empathetic, and respectful care across multiple locations, helping residents get the most out of life. Operating primarily out of Wells, Somerset with regional travel, you will monitor care delivery, contribute to person-centred care planning, and record vital health observations. Your role is wonderfully varied, ensuring every resident receives meaningful companionship and dedicated one-to-one time during every shift.

Note: Mileage is covered when traveling over five miles from your primary home.

About You

We are looking for an experienced, dedicated care professional who is ready to make a positive impact across the region.

Qualifications & Training: Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care is essential, and training in medication administration is ideal.
Experience: Background in care with a strong understanding of elderly care and the wider healthcare industry.
Requirements: Access to your own car and a valid driving licence for regional travel.
Attributes: Compassionate, dedicated, and passionate about supporting resident wellbeing. (Includes eligibility for a performance bonus if on duty during a ‘Good’ CQC inspection!)
