We are currently recruiting a full-time Support Worker to join the close-knit, compassionate team at Blair House, a Priory service located in the charming village of Billinghay.

Blair House is a well-established home set in a beautiful, semi-rural countryside location. It provides specialist residential and nursing support for 27 individuals with a primary learning disability diagnosis. The entire team is dedicated to improving the health, well-being, and positive outcomes of the residents—ensuring they live a happy, independent life within a safe, welcoming, and scenic environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this active, hands-on care role, you will provide both practical and emotional support to help residents reach their full potential. Working under the guidance of qualified staff, your daily responsibilities will include:

Personal Care Support: Assisting residents with daily essential tasks such as washing, dressing, eating, and food preparation.
Promoting Independence & Well-being: Implementing individualized care plans and encouraging participation in social, recreational, and community activities that promote personal growth.
Observation & Documentation: Monitoring residents' physical and emotional well-being, recording updates accurately, and reporting any changes to senior staff.
Householding & Mobility: Performing light housekeeping tasks (vacuuming, changing bed linens) and assisting with safe lifting, transferring, and movement.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Accompanying residents to medical appointments, supporting important family connections, and liaising with specialists like Speech & Language Therapists and Learning Disability teams.
