## Your Role & Responsibilities

Working in a non-judgemental environment focused on high-quality substitute parenting, you will support children who experience behavioural and emotional difficulties:

Therapeutic Care: Accept children exactly as they are, allowing them to experience childhood, build self-esteem, and safely transition into adulthood.
Daily Enrichment: Facilitate activities and appointments, helping children in all aspects of their lives while ensuring their health, well-being, and absolute safeguarding.
Home Environment: Support the wider team with essential domestic tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and food shopping, to maintain a warm, welcoming home.
Administration: Assist with creating timetables, managing paperwork, and writing accurate reports.

## Who We Are Looking For

Previous experience is not essential! Our partner thrives on the ethos "Potential Not Perfection" and provides an industry-leading Skills to Care induction (featuring 2 weeks of classroom training and a week of shadow shifts). To apply, you must meet the following criteria:

Age Profile: Must be 22 years of age or older (to comply with OFSTED regulations).
Driving Licence: Hold a valid, manual UK driving licence.
Personal Traits: Caring, compassionate, able to build positive relationships, and resilient enough to remain calm in challenging situations.
Development Growth: Willingness to be supported to achieve your Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within your first 12 months.
