Pay Rate: £16.84 per hour
Hours: Flexible / Bank (As and when required)
Shift Type: Day Shifts (Working days with alternate weekends)

About the Role

This casual, part-time position offers ultimate working flexibility. As a Bank Chef, you will deliver hotel and restaurant standards of hospitality without the demanding split shifts and long hours typically found in mainstream hospitality.

Craft Nutritious Menus: Assist the Head Chef in creating flavourful, well-balanced menus using fresh, seasonal produce while tailoring choices around residents' preferences.
Kitchen Management: Help manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence, handle stock control, and complete regular audits.
Lead & Inspire: Help motivate the kitchen team while ensuring a warm, efficient, and fun environment that operates smoothly within budget.

About You

Qualifications: Hold City & Guilds / NVQ / SVQ or equivalent catering qualifications.
Experience: Background in working with fresh, seasonal food and helping lead or inspire a team.
Knowledge: A good understanding of nutrition, catering standards, and HACCP compliance.
Attributes: A personable, warm, and passionate approach with a genuine dedication to residents' health and wellbeing.
